What I’ve Accomplished
My journey has been a blend of finance, technology, and real estate—each step building on the last to create a unique skill set that drives value for businesses and individuals alike.

-
Ernst & Young (Big 4 Experience)
I began my career at Ernst & Young, where I led audit teams and provided clients with reliable assurance on their financial reporting. This role sharpened my analytical skills and deepened my understanding of compliance and risk management.

-
Sage Software (Bridging Finance & Technology)
As a Financial Technical Consultant at Sage, I served as the bridge between finance end-users and the tech team, ensuring the successful implementation of X3 ERP systems tailored to meet client needs. During this time, I identified critical risks in ERP processes from both technical and financial perspectives. This sparked my interest in risk management, leading me to earn the Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designation from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.

-
Mixta Africa (Leading Risk & Audit in Real Estate)
I took my expertise to Mixta Africa, one of West Africa’s largest real estate companies, where I led the Risk and Audit team. My work focused on identifying and mitigating operational and financial risks while driving strategic decision-making. Alongside my role, I hosted two seasons of the first real estate-focused podcast out of Africa, sharing insights and fostering conversations about the industry’s growth.

-
Langara College (Deepening Real Estate Knowledge)
Recognizing the need to expand my real estate expertise, I enrolled in a specialized real estate program at Langara College. This academic pursuit has equipped me with the tools to better understand market dynamics and investment strategies.
